Why staying in is the new going out.
I must be getting old! I used to be able to dance the night away, from dusk til dawn, and then get up and do a full days work. I used to like nothing more than a great night out, meeting friends, eating, drinking and frankly being merry. But now nothing makes me happier than a night in, with a great takeaway, a nice bottle of wine and something seriously good to watch on the TV. Celebrity Glamour from the Lipsy VIP awards – Michelle Keegan, Rachel Shenton and Louise Thompson
The Lipsy VIP awards was a great showcase for the brand, with lots of glamorous ladies wearing their Lipsy finery and looking oh so fabulous. One of the best dressed on the night was the lovely Amy Childs, who wore one of the dresses from her own collection, in a shade of blue that showcased that glorious red hair. Rocking the full length and fabulous, Amy was every inch the Hollywood styled goddess. At the other end of the style spectrum, but also looking great, was Made in Chelsea favourite Louise Thompson. Last Wednesday beauty fans and bloggers gathered in Birmingham’s Pavilions shopping centre to attend a great beauty event hosted by Provencal beauty brand L’Occitaine, and Glossybox. The event was a chance to see all the new ranges that L’Occitaine has introduced lately, and also to try some of the products, with 15% discount offered on anything you then chose to buy.
