Markus Lupfer and Donna Air coming to Debenhams

Debenhams has to be one of my favourite department stores. Full of great ranges that appeal to both men and women and featuring some great High Street concessions like Warehouse, Oasis and Phase Eight, Debenhams is a store that I seem to get a host of new pieces from every season. Add into this the fact that it seems to be constantly hosting great promotions that really save you money, and that the web is always full of Debenhams Voucher Codes and you have lots of reasons for paying Debenhams a visit this season. And now the store is about to add another fabulous reason. The Designer at Debenhams range…

A Riot of Colour in the Harvey Nichols Cafe

It is no secret that I love to sample a good afternoon tea. I could quite frankly live on scones and clotted cream, macaroons and copious amounts of strong tea. Add a glass of something fizzy and bubbly and you have all the ingredients for my perfect afternoon. So when the lovely Katie Sayers, the resident food expert at Harvey Nichols Birmingham, asked me if I would like to sample one of their new ‘Riot of Colour’ afternoon teas, I almost did a dance of joy. With my dining partners, hubby Peter and 4 year-old Joe, we took a trip to the Expresso Cafe. Tea, cream and cakes – what…

This year, Big Brother sensation Rylan is being joined by a Birmingham girl, the presenter of this years Big Brother, and the new presenter of The Voice,…

London to finally get a Designer Outlet

It is hard to believe that in a city like London, so crammed full of style on every street corner, with every discernible kind of shop available, you cannot find a designer outlet village. But this is currently true. When I speak to my London-based friends about spending the day at a shopping outlet, they always talk about travelling out to Bicester Village, a good 45minutes from Marylebone, leaving me in confusion – you are traveling out of London to shop? Really? But all this is about to change with the development of a new London shopping centre. In just over 4 weeks the London Designer Outlet will open. Wembley…

    The Emmys Good looks/bad looks

Last night was the most important night in television for Americans. It was the star studded Emmy awards. I stayed up into the early hours discussing the key looks with some of my favourite twitter ladies, Natalie from Fashion Blags  and LuAnne from Weesha’s World and really enjoyed the red carpet event, which was pretty stylish in all honesty. The Emmys are not like the BAFTAS.  At the BAFTAS, despite the thespian luvvies who make up most of the audience, you can still rely on a reality television star to wear something totally inappropriate, or just plain wrong. And, if that doesn’t happen, you always have the ever wacky Helen…
