Superdry Spring/Summer Press Day
The Superdry Superstore on Regent Street is certainly one that lives up to the name ‘Super’. It is a palace of a store, and certainly the perfect venue for a press event, with more than enough space to show new collections to great advantage. On Thursday that is just what happened, when Superdry introduced the collections that have us thinking again to sunnier times. This was a collection that will certainly convert those that think that Superdry is all about jeans and clunky boots. There was just so much to admire. I loved the ‘Mod’ style tailored jackets, with military style gold buttons, and flashes of colour. English heritage was represented…

John Lewis Secret Santa
I’m totally thrilled to say that I am going to be taking part in the John Lewis bloggers Secret Santa this month. As a lover of anything and everything to do with Christmas, this was one project that I could never refuse, especially as it was in conjunction with John Lewis, the King of the Christmas Ad Campaign. Phase Eight – Top Party Frocks and Collection 8
When you want a seriously knockout party or occasion dress, Phase Eight should definitely be at the top of your shopping list. With dresses that embrace different era’s, different influences and a whole range of colours, Phase Eight will always help you to stand out in any room and feel like a princess at the same time (I can’t be the only one surprised that Kate Middleton is yet to wear Phase Eight.) It would be hard for me to begin to tell you my favourite dresses from such an exquisite range. The purple choices rate very highly, I adore the Japanese floral influence of the Kimono dress, and the…

There is nothing that can make you feel warm and cosy like a much-loved sweater. Worn over jeans or leggings, this can be a great casual look. Add a pencil skirt and heels, and a sweater becomes something completely different. It is an integral part of any respectable capsule wardrobe, and of course, in recent years it has also become an undisputed star of the Christmas season. Everyone who is anyone has to have at least one Christmas jumper. Selfridges would not necessarily be your first port of call when looking for a perfect jumper, but this season, they have pulled out all the stops to offer you the most…

Morning School Run – The First Catwalk of the Day
Gone are the days when mums did the school run in their pyjama bottoms and slippers with no makeup on. Mums are now glamming up for their daily trips to the school yards to drop their kids off. It doesn’t mean rolling up in the most up to date car, but also strutting down the school playground in heels, the latest designer handbag or face of makeup. The school playgrounds have now become a hub for mums to showcase their latest fashion items to compete with other mums in the yummy mummy contest. I’m sure that the kids couldn’t care less whether mummy has Dior lipstick on instead on MAC…
