Reviewed – F&F True Supersoft Skinny Jeans
This is a bit of a departure for me when it comes to writing review posts. This is because, in nearly four years of blogging, I have only ever once posted a review of a pair of jeans. The reason for this is quite simple – I don’t generally like jeans, and so I don’t really wear them that much. I find jeans problematic. I have long legs, but a jelly belly. I like my jeans to sit on my waist, or even higher if possible. I’m not a huge fan of boyfriend styles – I don’t think they do anything for curvy girls, and had always opted for bootcut…

Cheryl Cole’s first day back at The X Factor
It was probably one of the worst kept secrets in showbiz, that a certain Ms Cheryl Cole (or is it Tweedy, or just Cheryl…not sure I can keep up with all the name changes.) would be making a welcome return to the X Factor for 2014. Look Again Press Event – Introducing Stacey Solomon
A couple of weeks ago I ventured to the glossy confines of Vanilla in London for a very special press event. Look Again were launching their ranges for Spring/Summer 2014, and also unveiling their new celebrity face of the brand, the very lovely Stacey Solomon. The papparazi were there in droves to photograph Stacey in some of the highlights from the new range, it was fascinating to see at close range just how frenzied the atmosphere can be. It really was mayhem, with photographers all shouting at the same time and seeming to fall over each other in a bid to get the best shots. Stacey, though, was the consummate…

Reviewed – Wallis Red Daisy Fit and Flare dress
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about my favourite picks from the new season pieces at Wallis. (You can read that post here.) The pieces I was most drawn to were the 1940s style tea dresses that came in a range of colours, and were floral and feminine. The lovely people at Wallis offered to send me one of the dresses to review, and I opted for the bright prettiness of the Red Daisy Fit and Flare dress. This was one that had caught my eye from the start. I love bright colours and prints, and this dress definitely had a real feel of springtime about it. I was…

After the loveliest weather you could wish for this early in the year, it really does seem like Spring has sprung. There are still lots of the over-the-top bright pieces from the ‘Cut for Evans’ collection that has certainly divided opinion…
