Valentine’s Gift Ideas from Toxicfox
As we move towards the end of January, we start to think about Valentine’s Day, and choosing that perfect gift for our loved one. Getting it right is very important, it not only shows someone how much you love them, it also reveals how well you know them. This year, whether you are looking for something sentimental and romantic, something that will make your partner giggle, or even something a little bit ’50 Shades’ to celebrate that bit of celluloid naughtiness being released on Valentine’s Day, ToxicFox is most definitely worth a look. The Return of Mr Selfridge
Sunday night sees the return of the rather delectable Jeremy Piven to our screens as the huge TV hit Mr Selfridge returns for its third series. I’m a huge fan of Harry, and of the series in general, so I have to admit to rather looking forward to its welcome return. The new series will kick off in 1919, with Harry mourning his wife Rose. The real Rose died in 1918, when the First World War had not yet ended, but the series transports the death forward in time. Frances O Connor has left the series, but we have new cast members in the shape of Kara and Hannah Tointon…

Dealing with those ‘Oops’ moments.
In amongst all the things women still don’t talk about, a leaky bladder is probably the number one taboo subject. Feeling worried about leakages when we laugh too hard, or sneeze, or just when we are dying to use the toilet, are all really common, with an incredible one in two women in the UK alone affected by this. I have my own experience of this sort of problem. Many years ago a close friend used to suffer if she…

A pamper package for me.
Are you a sport’s widow? Are you what the American’s refer to as a ‘soccer mom’? Do you find that your television is taken over by sport of any, or every description, and that weeknights are dedicated to getting a child or teenager to a range of different sporting activities. If the answer to any of these is yes, then you have my sympathies, and I’m sure you will understand why I jumped at the chance of a bit of me time, courtesy of a stunning Pamper Parcel created by Rosie Scribble and her team. For my husband, it’s all about darts and boxing. Ringside is recorded each week and…

Phase Eight Embrace Retro Winter Sun
I must admit I got a little bit excited when I first laid eyes on the new swimwear collection from Phase Eight. The brand is always a favourite of mine for the sheer glamour and elegance of the collections, there is something a little bit Hollywood about the full skirts and sequins, without even turning our head towards the spectacular ‘Collection 8’ range. And now we have a holiday range, complete with swimwear straight from the wardrobe of Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, with a little 70s inspiration thrown in for good measure. The swimwear collection deserves the word ‘amazing’ attached to it. Forget barely there, string bikini’s, the pieces…
