Wilkomen! Cabaret Hits Wolverhampton With A Bang.
Life is a Cabaret and you just have to embrace it, and as a new version of the classic, iconic musical had its press night in Wolverhampton last night, it was clear that its message of tolerance juxtaposed against the horrific rise of Fascism has never been so relevant, Cabaret is the story of a young wannabe writer Cliff Bradshaw, arriving in a glamorous decadent Berlin in the final throes of the Weimar Republic. The exhibition is at the MOMA Machnylleth, a museum of modern art that is well worth a look for it’s own merits, housed in The Tabernacle, a former Wesleyan chapel…

In a year of Royal Weddings, yesterday was the time for a rock and roll wedding with royalty in attendance. Pop queen Ellie Goulding married her longtime partner Caspar Jopling at York Minister yesterday with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and the Duchess of York amongst the guests. Other guests included James Blunt, Katy Perrry and Orlando Bloom, Jimmy Carr, Sienna Miller and Tracy Emin, and, it has to be said, the wedding had the definite feel of a royal wedding, with crowds lining the streets outside to get a glimpse of the couple and their guests. Ellie chose an unusual Chloe gown that has certainly divided opinions on social…

There is nothing better for cementing or rekindling the sparks of romance than taking a break together where you escape from the norms of every day life and from the hustle and bustle of work. There are many ways to enjoy a couple’s break, including a stay in a hotel, but if you really want to get away from it all, then a stay at a holiday cottage meant for two is the ultimate getaway. You can enjoy the home from home experience with all the mod cons you need for a comfortable break,…
