Stylish Television: Little Birds
Little Birds is the latest stylish addition to the Sky Atlantic impressive portfolio of drama. Adapted from one of Anais Nin’s erotic collection of stories, it features Juno Temple, Hugh Skinner, Nina Sosayna and Yumna Marwan and is set in Tangier in 1955, in the international zone. It is glossy and glamorous, a little decadent, and pure escapism in a Summer where that word seems to mean hitting an overcrowded beach on the south coast, rather than a heady, perfumed air. Juno Temple plays the lead protagonist, the America debutante Lucy Savage, who marries to escape her claustrophobic home life and upbringing, not knowing that her husband Hugo (played by Hugh…

Why Choose Wood Flooring?
From the 1980’s on wards, we saw a rise in the popularity of laminate flooring for our homes.People, especially those with young families, began to look at different options rather than traditional carpet, realising that wooden style floors could look stylish, but were also practical and easy to clean, especially for people with young children and pets. Horse Riding And Its Celebrity Fans
With the lockdown continuing to ease in most parts of the UK, there has been a rise in the number of people who are getting back in the saddle and enjoying horse riding all over again. The Queen was just one of the people who had missed riding during lockdown, and indeed the first published picture of her after lockdown was, inevitably, one of her riding a pony in the grounds of Windsor Castle. It is apt then, that horse Riding is often described as the Sport of Kings, but these days it could also be as truthfully described as the sport of the glamorous celebrity. The list of well…

Frugal Fashion – More Charity Shops And Vintage Finds
I’ve been enjoying being able to get back to the Charity Shops that have been gradually reopening since June and am happy to say there have been plenty of bargains on offer. My frugal fashion finds have also included eBay, another pleasure that I used to love, then fell out of love with (too much new stuff mass produced in China and the Far East and not enough real bargains) but have now started to enjoy again. Charity shops do seem to be really busy at the moment. My mom manages an Acorns store in Wednesbury and has suggested that customers seem to have really missed the thrill of finding…
