Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, refers to a group of conditions that cause the skin to turn red and become itchy and inflamed. There are different types, such as seborrheic dermatitis and contact dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis typically occurs between the first six months up to 5 years of age.
