Boohoo Plus launch the Nadia Collection
New York based blogger Nadia Aboulhosn is a true icon for the plus size fatshionista. A gorgeous fashion savvy lady, with natural style in abundance, Nadia is witty and down-to-earth, and now counts Lena Dunham amongst her celebrity fans. All this makes her the perfect person to collaborate with Boohoo’s plus size range on their first celebrity/brand fusion.
Nadia is well known for the statement pieces she wears in her Instagram #OOTD posts, and this is what she has created with Boohoo. High fashion pieces for plus size young women who want to follow and embrace fashion are still a hard thing to find on the UK High Street, so Nadia has looked at fabrics like scuba and styles like sports luxe and 1980s style jumpsuits in order to create a sexy collection with edges of tomboy style. The colour palette is sparse, classic black and white teamed with accents of cobalt blue , and styles are unashamedly form fitting – a total celebration of the body.
The collection launches today, and I think it will polarise opinion. You are either going to love it with a passion, or hate it. For me, I think the collection has some stunning pieces in it – I wouldn’t wear them personally, but this is because I feel they are a little young for me as a forty-something, take off 15 years and I would definitely be investing in lots of the pieces. The jumpsuits are my personal favourite, and I am tempted by the bodysuits, which I think would be fabulous under the pencil skirts I am rather addicted to.
What are your thoughts on the collection – are there any pieces that tempt you?
My hero piece – I absolutely love this jumpsuit, and think Nadia looks just stunning in it.

I never had a jumpsuit. I always wanted one but with my rounded figure I wasn’t sure it will look good, she is proving me wrong 🙂

The Asymmetric dress and blue jumpsuit are both wonderful. That blue is just to die for.

I love that they decided to make blue the stand out colour, such a vibrant shade isn’t it.x

I think the black zipped wrap dress is my favourite, as it has a really flattering cut x

I’ve never really looked at Boohoo’s stuff but I do like all the clean lines and colours. Will have to have a look 🙂
