Boohoo – My style icon
When I was asked if I would like to take part in the Boohoo.com ‘My Style Icon’ challenge, I was instantly intrigued and interested. Regular readers of this blog know that celebrity style, and getting the celebrity look are areas that I am really interested in. But to actually trying to recreate an outfit myself, from a limited budget of just £30, this was something that I thought would be difficult. Who exactly would I choose as my style icon? I had to think about this long and hard. I love the style of many varied women. The retro style of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Marianne Faithfull…

Boohoo Plus launch the Nadia Collection
New York based blogger Nadia Aboulhosn is a true icon for the plus size fatshionista. A gorgeous fashion savvy lady, with natural style in abundance, Nadia is witty and down-to-earth, and now counts Lena Dunham amongst her celebrity fans. All this makes her the perfect person to collaborate with Boohoo’s plus size range on their first celebrity/brand fusion. Nadia is well known for the statement pieces she wears in her Instagram #OOTD posts, and this is what she has created with Boohoo. High fashion pieces for plus size young women who want to follow and embrace fashion are still a hard thing to find on the UK High Street, so…

Boohoo Plus size range just gets better
It is no secret that I’m a real fan of the plus size range that Boohoo introduced late last year. I have quite a few pieces in my wardrobe and they tick a whole lot of boxes. They are well sized – if anything they can be quite generous, they are superbly priced, and the style and quality have both proven to be pretty good. Now Boohoo are further extending the collection, with pretty much anything you need for Autumn/Winter included in the latest collection. The dress I am reviewing on the blog today is now in the sale, and I would say it is an absolute bargain if you…

Reviewed Boohoo Lou Slim Boyfriend Jeans
As I have previously blogged, I am on the hunt for the perfect jeans for girls with curvy figures. I want jeans that hug and enhance, rather than give the sausage effect by being too tight. I want jeans that don’t roll down my stomach leaving me hitching them up all day (so not a good look), and I want jeans that fit my legs without being too long – hence needing to be turned up, or too short. So far I have found one pair of jeans that I love (from F&F – check out that review here.) Now I turn my attention to a slim Boyfriend jean from…

Reviewed – Boohoo Evie Mesh Hem Panel Midi Dress
I am very happy to say that after the initial launch of Boohoo’s Plus size collection, the net range is now available online, and is proving that Boohoo go from strength to strength. This new collection is bigger and continues with the positive impact of the inaugural collection by offering fashion forward, good quality pieces at really affordable prices. I loved the first collection and reviewed three of those first pieces, they slotted easily into my wardrobe and have been getting lots of wear. I have again been lucky enough to be again asked to review some pieces from the new collection, and this time I decided to venture a…
