Nelly.com launch party – Oh what a night!
Late on Tuesday evening the email I’d been waiting for dropped into the Inbox – an invite to the Nelly.com launch party. This was the much-anticipated launch to the exciting online company that is already the toast of Scandinavia, and is now set to conquer the UK. To be held in the luxurious surroundings of Aqua, this was a party not to be missed. And of course, it surpassed all expectations. The whole of Aqua had been the willing victim of a Nelly takeover. There was a nail bar treating guests to glittering manicures, rails of gorgeous dresses from the likes of AX Paris to drool over, and then there…

Christian Louboutin at the Design Museum – The Press Conference
I was mega excited to receive an email inviting me to the press conference and preview of the much-anticipated Christian Louboutin exhibition at the Design Museum. I am a huge fan of the man who created all those beautiful red soled shoes worn by fashionistas across the globe, and so couldn’t wait to get up close and personal with some of his most iconic designs. The following is a…

Well, if you’re anything like me, your favourite part of The Wizard of Oz will be Dorothy’s exquisite ruby-red slippers, those stunning sparkly numbers that she had to drop a house on a witch to get. Dorothy showed that sparkly, glittery shoes do not need to be restricted simply to evening occasions – she even rocked hers with gingham! This season Spartoo have an amazing selection of glittery shoes that add sparkle to even the wettest and dullest of days (yes,…

Duchess Kate wears Matthew Williamson – and looks AMAZING!
At the African Cats premiere, Kate Middleton showed why she continues to impress with her style credentials, choosing a glorious Matthew Williamson style dress that just ticked all the right boxes. In the softest grey, this shift style dress had the bang-on-trend peplum waistband and an unusual jewelled and beaded neckline and cuffs that had a touch of the ornate 1960s about them. The jewelled neckline also added a colour pop with green and yellow beads that sparkled and shone on the wettest night of the year. How to get the look You could create your own version of Kate’s dress with a simple, sleek peplum dress that could then…

TOWIE celebrity style featuring New Look, Miss Selfridge and Simply Be
My best friend is getting married in June (so exciting!), and she has decided for a real Essex Hen night, complete with a trip to the infamous Sugar Hut. This has led to Fashion-Mommy giving the style of those TOWIE ladies a lot of consideration. And I have to say that they make some great choices when they hit the High Street. The lovely Lydia Bright, Gemma Collins and Jess Wright have all recently been pictured wearing some great High Street finds that look really good without breaking the bank. Here’s how you can get the looks for yourself. Gemma Collins wears Simply Be and Dorothy Perkins I love Gemma.…
