December looks post
It has been quite a long time since I did a looks post, but December is certainly the busiest and best time when it comes to making the most of your existing wardrobe, and adding a few new pieces (in the form of Christmas gifts) to it. For someone like me, who loves glamour and sequins, faux fur and pretty dresses, I always try to make the most of all those opportunities to get dressed up, and although this is not a comprehensive list of everything I have worn for the festive period, these are some of my favourites. The World’s Biggest Panto may just be the greatest ever
It has been billed as the World’s biggest panto, the only one that could boast of a cast of 100, an award winning gospel choir and a Bollywood dance troop. This year’s Christmas bell(e) is Kate Bush, and the song is December Will Be Magic Again, which she performed live on a Christmas special in 1979, and was then released for Christmas 1980, but only released number 29 in the charts. This was in the same year that the Christmas Number one position…

Expedia World on a Plate
I was recently asked if I would be interested in taking part in a cookery challenge with Expedia. Called ‘World on a plate’, the project involved creating culinary delights based around the cuisine of a given European location. I was given Malta – a place that I have visited in the past and totally fell in love with. Malta is a small Mediterranean island with a interesting cuisine that seems to take it’s influences from both nearby Italy, with oily seafood and salads, and also Middle Eastern dishes, including Pastizzi Tal Pizelli, which is a sort of mushy peas pasty, and also comes in a variety filled with Ricotta cheese.…
