It has been quite a long time since I did a looks post, but December is certainly the busiest and best time when it comes to making the most of your existing wardrobe, and adding a few new pieces (in the form of Christmas gifts) to it. For someone like me, who loves glamour and sequins, faux fur and pretty dresses, I always try to make the most of all those opportunities to get dressed up, and although this is not a comprehensive list of everything I have worn for the festive period, these are some of my favourites.
It is also a post that is definitely demarcated by illness. The majority of the looks featured were worn before Boxing Day. That was the point I became ill, really ill, spending days in bed ill. The only thing I wore for the next few days were pjs, and I was literally so poorly that I didn’t even want to change these – they could’ve literally walked to the wash basket by themselves by the time I started to feel better, so not a good luck. This also explains my dressed down New Year Outfit, it was a makeshift trip to Pizza Hut to just get us out of the house for a few hours, but boy it felt good to get out of the jama’s…
I really hope you’ve had a good Christmas and are now enjoying a great start to 2015. If you have any outfit posts for the Christmas period I would love to see them, please leave me any links in the comment box.

I L-L-Love the New years eve prom skirt, then again I love long align skirts! Sorry to hear you were so ill over Christmas, there were a lot of bugs going around. Hope it didn’t hinder you too much xx
The second week was a bit of a washout, but still did enjoy Christmas, Thank you.xxx
So many great looks. I love the pleat and embroidery vest. It is very me
It was such a bargain too at just £10.
Some amazing outfits, I love your Christmas day and New Years Day dresses. Such a good excuse to glitz and glamour x
Thank you – love a bit of glitz at Christmas.
Lovely outfits. I’m loving your leopard print coat and also the last yellow one with the faux fur stole! Beautiful!
Thank you very much.
Love the skirt you wore for new years.
I got really ill last Christmas that left me in bed for christmas right through to new year so I felt your pain. You just want to enjoy that time of year not feel sorry for yourself being poorly!
It was horrendous feeling so ill this year.x
Love the silver prom skirt! I need to go shopping this week 🙂
Thank you, think I will get lots of wear out of it.x
Love the DP silver prom skirt you wore on New Years. Is it lined? How long is it? Just eyeing it up at the minute on the website, there’s not much detail or any reviews either. Thanks
Hi
It is a lovely skirt. I’m 5ft 7 and it is definitely midi length on me. It isn’t lined I’m afraid, this didn’t bother me to be honest.x
Oh it’d be a maxi on me then! I’m just 5ft 1. 🙂
Some great outfits here, I love the NYE skirt and the leopard print fur coat the most.
You look amazing! I especially love the Dotty P dress and the leopard print coat (total sucker for leopard print right over here!!)
