‘Catch the Bus Week’ with Stagecoach Buses
July 4th to the 10th has been designated has this years ‘catch the bus week’. This is a national initiative which wants to encourage people who don’t normally catch the bus to try it out. There are proven benefits to using the bus for travel and commuting, not least the fact that by using public transport we are easing congestion on our roads and opting for a greener alternative. A day in Ferragudo
Ferragudo is a small village in the Lagao district of The Algarve in Portugal. Still a fairly traditional village, it is tipped to become a new tourist destination, but for now, it is beautiful, peaceful and perfect for a taste of the real Portugal. Why I’m glad we invested in a caravan in Wales
It was just over 5 years ago that we decided to buy our static caravan that is now based on a beautiful site in Snowdonia, Mid Wales. The Camping and Caravanning Club have been looking at how we can get children away from their play stations,…

Enjoying a perfect Father’s Day
Today I am turning the blog over to my husband Peter, who has been invited by Health and Safety training experts SHEilds to talk about what makes a perfect Father’s Day. This year will be quite a different Father’s Day for me, as I will be spending it in sunny Portugal, hopefully on a glorious beach, or splashing around in the pool with Joe and Em. And, in a way, this is a pefect example of what Father’s Day should be like, because it should be an opportunity for quality time with those you love. A perfect Father’s Day would start with a lie-in. I have to get up early…
