CiCi PR & Events Press day – Fashion-Mommy mingles with the Celebs!
Last Thursday, the fabulous PR company CiCi PR & Events, which is headed by the wonderful Cristie Herbert, host a successful Press Day and Celebrity Gifting Suite. This was held at Jalouse Members Club, No17 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London, and Fashion-Mommy was lucky enough to be on the guest list. The event was to showcase a range of impressive, High End, collections that included boudoir delights from the vintage inspired Tallulah Love, swimwear from Nardis Beach and the stunning ‘Call of the Whale’ swimwear collection from Australian label Lisa Blue. Selfridges – White Christmas leaves me feeling all festive.
Last Thursday saw the press day to celebrate the launch of Selfridges Christmas department. This year the theme is White Christmas, and Fashion-Mommy was able to have a sneaky peak at all the exquisite gifts that will be on offer for the festive season. It was quite disconcerting to leave the sticky, summer heat outside and to then walk into a winter wonderland, but that’s exactly what happened. Bing Crosby crooned in the background, whilst a snow machine produced flurries of the white stuff. Kate’s wedding dress – the countdown is almost over.
The excitement level is growing by the day, in just over seven days I am going to Buckingham Palace to view THAT dress! That glorious Sarah Burton creation that made us all gasp at its beauty on the April day. Yes, Fashion-Mommy is off to see the Duchess of Cambridge‘s wedding dress. The dress, along with the veil, Halo tiara and shoes, is going to be the star attraction when Buckingham Palace opens its doors to the public on July 23rd for its annual summer opening.
