Style focus – Marina Diamandis
The great thing about British pop music is that quirky style Queen’s always emerge to add extra visual interest to those videos on heavy rotation on MTV. From punk Queens like Poly Styrene, to 80s legends Bananarama and more recent songstresses like Paloma Faith, Shingai Shoniwa, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J, British singers have shown a style and uniqueness that has made them quirky, unique and highly original. The latest lady to add into the mix is Marina Diamandis, also known as Marina and the Diamonds. When Marina first emerged I found her style to be a little bit too garish, full of wacky prints and body skimming catsuits. But…

Caggie Dunlop’s final hurrah in Chelsea.
She has been the undisputed Queen of Chelsea, keeping us hooked with her will they, won’t they romance with Spencer Matthews, and her fabulous wardrobe. But Caggie Dunlop will disappear from the Made in Chelsea series after episode 2, leaving her many fans distraught that they won’t be able to access that severely lustworthy wardrobe for a weekly fix. Caggie may be moving onto pastures new, apparently to make music with a little help from Plan B(what is it with Chelsea Girls and their rappers), but I feel a little tribute to that great wardrobe is in order. A gorgeous blonde, Caggie enjoys wearing pastels and ice cream shades that…

Glamorous Eyewear that helps to give sight – Toms launch at Selfridges
Fashion is often described as frothy. frivolous and fun, but sometimes it also shows its serious, caring side. A great example of this is Toms. This time, CEO Brett Mycoskie, has focused on another key issue, that of sight. Toms have launched a fabulous new collection of eyewear exclusively at Selfridges. This is a fashion forward collection that includes all the classic styles of sunglasses, wayfarers, aviators and stylish oversized designs. I particularly love…

Jameson Empire Awards – Best dressed.
If you thought the awards season ended when the Oscars were given out, think again. Last weekend saw the Jameson Empire awards given out in London, and although Hollywood glamour was a little thin on the ground (Olivia Wilde in her nan’s nightie didn’t impress me) there were a few looks that you worth a second look. Look 1 – Bonnie Wright channels androgyny I always love the idea of a really pretty, feminine girl in a tuxedo, so I loved that Bonnie Wright went for this look. Usually her style is for quirky midi dresses teamed with colour pop platforms, so this was a great departure for her. This…

Get Kate Middleton’s smart, casual look at Boohoo
The Duchess of Cambridge adopted a super stylish dressed down look today as she visited the new Olympic Park in London. Eschewing the recent chic suits and coat dresses that she has worn on recent visits, Kate opted for bright, cropped jeans, a military style blazer, teamed with a jauntily tied scarf in patriotic red, white and blue. This was the perfect outfit for a more laid back royal visit, especially as Kate later abandoned part of the outfit in order to take part in a game of hockey. I love that ate had opted for national colours of red, white and blue, whilst remaining smart and on-duty. The blazer…
