Dancing Shoes inspired by Strictly Come Dancing
Strictly Come Dancing rules the Saturday night television in my house. I love everything about it. The mix of celebrities are perfect, the dances inspired, the costumes are never less than fabulous, and, of course I’m in love with the fabulous dancing shoes. The professional dancers and female contestants wear the most feminine and elegant shoes, often mid-heeled and Mary Jane style, and seem to (mostly) glide around the dance floor in effortless style. Maybe they have found the secret of the perfect shoe for causing ‘murder on the dance floor.’ (Bit of a Sophie pun there – sorry!) With the Christmas party season already beginning for some of us,…

Celebrity get the look featuring Kelly Brook, Tamera Foster, Tess Daly and Ripper Street
As to be expected this close to Christmas, this edition of Celebrity Get the look features lots of gorgeous ladies (and a few gentleman too) in a range of gorgeous sparkly and festive ready frocks. The end of year always brings a fleet of awards ceremonies arriving like buses and this gives celebrities from the World of TV and film the opportunity to don their glad rags and enjoy their chance to sparkle on the red carpet. In this post we have Emmerdale’s Gemma Oaten and Corrie’s Brooke Vincent doing just that in Gorgeous Couture. The Face has been one of the TV hits of the Autumn and two of…

Strictly Come Dancing Live at NIA, Birmingham
Last night ,I attended Strictly Come Dancing Live at the NIA, Birmingham, and what a fabulous spectacle it was. Glamorous, sparkling and oh so entertaining, it was a show that made you laugh out loud one minute, and swoon in awe and wonder the next. I absolutely loved it! The Live show is different from the television series. Kate Thornton takes over the Bruce and Tess role and brings sass, sarcasm and wit to the role, not to mention the fact that I had serious dress envy at her wonderful Marios Schwab dress. (I have to thank Kate for tweeting to confirm my suspicions about the designer of the dress…

Christmas Day Crackers featuring Kate Middleton, Girls Aloud and Tess Daly
There were a few stylish moments on Christmas day that I did not want to ignore, despite taking a break over the festive season. The Royal Family, residing at Sandringham, made their annual Christmas morning trip to church and looked suitably warm and cosy, with Zara Philips my pick for most stylish lady. William and Kate spent Christmas day with the Middleton’s, but did make a more low-key appearance, with Kate adding a touch of festive red with her long scarf. Christmas Day Top of the Pops has always been a tradition in my house, although we always seem to start eating the Christmas dinner half way through. This year…

Celebrity Style round up featuring Kate Moss, Ellie Goulding and Millie Mackintosh.
There have been some really great celebrity looks this month, with celebs once again showing that the perfect wardrobe is a good blend of High Street pieces and designer names. On the designer front, there was a double whammy at this year’s Children in Need, with both Tess Daly and Sarah Harding opting for the Project D Itala dress, albeit in different metallic shades. Kate Moss showed her style credentials in animal print from Marc Jacobs in a midi length, a style you can get for less on the High Street at the moment, whilst the lovely Sara MacDonald, Noel Gallagher’s better half, showed that the Gatsby look is definitely…
