Charlotte Casiraghi… The Royal Face of Gucci

This week Gucci unveiled its new face, and this one has a title. Charlotte Casiraghi, aka a Princess of Monaco and Granddaughter of the legendary Princess Grace, is the latest beauty to promote the Italian brand. No stranger to Gucci, Charlotte has been the face of its equistrian line for some time, but has now been photographed by Peter Lindbergh for the mainline collection.

The photographs are beautiful, and Charlotte is truly a stunning choice, a stylish, elegant presence for such a prestige brand with a proud heritage. Frida Giannini, creative director for Gucci, says, “Charlotte brings the spirit of Gucci to life so elegantly. I am delighted to be able to celebrate Gucci’s icons of heritage with someone who is so connected to the history and essence of this house.”

The super stylish princess looks amazing in the photographs, which retain a horsey feel. Resembling a 1970s Natasha Kinski, or the daughter Jane Birkin never knew she had, I love that the outfits are so covered up,making Charlotte look like a very modern Princess.
