How Gucci Has Leapt to Mainstream Success in 2018
If 2018 has demonstrated anything, it is that ‘millennials’ and teens absolutely love Gucci. It is, by far, the brand that has left the biggest mark this year and currently sits at the top of the Lyst fashion index. It is something that has been a few years in the making, though; in 2017, around 50-60 percent of Gucci’s sales were from consumers under the age of 25. But, where has Gucci’s success come from? If we rewind a few years, Gucci was a well-known brand but was far from being as popular as the likes of Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga. Today, though, Gucci has become the must-have brand that…

Charlotte Casiraghi’s European glamour
She is the totally gorgeous combination of a very famous and beautiful grandmother and equally gorgeous mother, and now, in her own right, Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco is becoming quite the style icon. Last week saw her sport a stunning new choppy hairdo, very reminiscent of that of Arizona Muse, and a total showstopping of a dress for the 2013 Monaco Rose Ball. The feathered Chanel number was frothy and pretty and young, totally suiting the glamorous young woman currently entrancing European fashion. This is not the first time that Charlotte has shown serious style credentials. As a face of Gucci she has all of Frieda Giannini’s great designs at…

Charlotte Casiraghi – The new campaign for Gucci
Gucci’s new campaign again stars the beautiful Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Princess Caroline and the granddaughter of the legendary Grace Kelly. Again, rather than full on glamour, it allows Charlotte’s earthy beauty to shine through whilst wearing a simple wardrobe of plain white shirt, cigarette pants and horsebit loafers. The campaign is entitled ‘Forever Now’ and is a showcase for design classics. I love the whole relaxed feel of this campaign, and the beautiful black and white shots taken by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Many have already noted the similarity to her grandmother’s dressed down, casual look, but I think that the shots are totally modern, showing…

Charlotte Casiraghi shines at Cannes
She is the face of Gucci, and the spitting image of her mother, Princess Caroline of Monaco, when she was a young woman. And now Charlotte Casiraghi can add the toast of the Cannes film festival to her accolades. Charlotte appeared on the red carpet at the screening of Madagascar 3 on Monday and showed that she is swiftly developing a sensuous style all of her own. The beautiful brunette opted for a teal ruffled dress from Gucci. This was a far sexier style than our own Duchess of Cambridge would opt for. A plunging neckline that was softened by the ruffled pleated edges, with a bar back and then further…

Charlotte Casiraghi… The Royal Face of Gucci
This week Gucci unveiled its new face, and this one has a title. Charlotte Casiraghi, aka a Princess of Monaco and Granddaughter of the legendary Princess Grace, is the latest beauty to promote the Italian brand. No stranger to Gucci, Charlotte has been the face of its equistrian line for some time, but has now been photographed by Peter Lindbergh for the mainline collection. The photographs are beautiful, and Charlotte is truly a stunning choice, a stylish, elegant presence for such a prestige brand with a proud heritage. Frida Giannini, creative director for Gucci, says, “Charlotte brings the spirit of Gucci to life so elegantly. I am delighted to be able…
