Festival styling by Boden

If I’m being truly honest, Boden would not necessarily be the first place I would look for festival friendly clothing. It doesn’t immediately spring to mind when you think of Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Ellie Goulding style Glastonbury wear. But this is the season that Boden has emerged as a new contender for festival fashion, with an eclectic collection just released that is dedicated to pieces that will look perfectly at home in a muddy field this summer. With pieces christened ‘Boho’ ‘Festival’ and ‘Glastonbury’, Boden has definitely got caught up in the summer music mood.

Classic Festival style

Boden has taken the elements of classic festival style, and has given them the Boden twist. This means there are hot pants, but with a Boden print rather than plain denim. There are cute printed vests that will contrast nicely with jeans or a denim skirt. There are animal print short wellies, these will practically go with whatever you choose to wear. And there are the usual raft of florals, items that every year we say are unsuited to a muddy field, but then marvel at the sheer style and bravery of the celeb wearing them (think Kelly Osbourne or Nicola Roberts in a tea dress, or Katy Perry at Coachella virtually every year.)
