I’ve just been previewing the gorgeous new collection from one of my High Street faves Dorothy Perkins, and its safe to say that if Spring/Summer 11 was all about the all-in-one jumpsuits, the Autumn/Winter is all about the dress. At the recent CiCi press launch I was fortunate to meet the lovely Michelle Taylor and be introduced to her brand, Tallulah Love, a luxurious range of lingerie. Finally – a social networking site for those who live and breathe through the Fashion Industry. A new fashion networking site has been launched for professionals in the fashion industry and dedicated followers of fashion. The site is open to all fashionistas and is totally free to join. Fred Perry release Amy Winehouse’s posthumous collection.
Fred Perry released the Autumn/Winter 2011 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry collection on Monday. A statement on their site says that this is with the blessing of Amy’s family, and that royalties and fees from the collection will go to the soon to be established Amy Winehouse foundation. The collection is really poignant, because it is completely, absolutely Amy. You can almost picture her wearing the collection in publicity shots, so close is it to her personal style.
