Ted Baker’s latest collection – My Favourite piece
I’ve fallen in love with a dress, a dream of a dress that has a divine, mystical feel to it. The sort of dress that Mila Kunis or Carey Mulligan would look just amazing in, standing out on the red carpet full of cookie cutter pretty dresses. This dress is the perfect, standout Christmas party piece – it would stand out in a room fall of sequins with the sheer beauty of the design and the originality of the print. The dress is the Peera dress, and it is part of the latest range, the Langley Collection, from Ted Baker. The Peera dress combines a traditional bustier style bodice that…

Kate looks so beautiful in teal Jenny Packham
Ok – I admit it, this may be my favourite Duchess of Cambridge look ever. I said in a post I published about Jenny Packham yesterday that I felt she had been responsible for Kate’s most successful evening look ever, the shimmering pink dress that the Duchess had worn to the Ark event last June, but I actually think, for sheer beauty, this teal dream of a dress beats it. Kate and Wills were attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the UK Olympic team, and I don’t think she could’ve chosen a more perfect, and on trend dress. This lace and chiffon confection had a classical…

Jenny Packham is one of the most important designers in the UK today. A favourite of celebrities like Angelina Jolie,Kiera Knightley, and the Duchess of Cambridge of course, Jenny is at the forefront of a move to bring glamour and beauty back to fashion. The glorious pink shimmering dress that Kate wore for the ARK evening was a Jenny Packham dress, and many believe this has been Kate’s finest fashion moment – she looked so beautiful in what was an utterly exquisite dress. So it is very exciting that Jenny Packham has become the latest High Profile British fashion name to collaborate with High Street giant Debenhams. A stunning new…

VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul -The Best Dressed.
The VH1 Divas event always promises some interesting looks as the best and brightest ladies in music come together for one very special evening. Jesse J, Jennifer Hudson and Dolly Parton were at the event, but non of these lovely ladies made Fashion-Mommy’s best dressed list. Here are the ladies who caught my eye on the night. Florence Welch Choosing a fabulous vintage style dress from Antonio Berardi, Florence again played up that alabaster colouring and Titian locks by opting for a nude shade. Florence continues to impress me with her style which avoids conventions of sexiness, instead creating an ethereal Titania like goddess. Another lady who opted for…

Kate at the Millies..So stunning in McQueen
I love velvet at Christmas, every year I dig out a vintage black velvet Laura Ashley skirt to wear over the festive season. It just seems the perfect fabric to wear at this time of year – luxurious, expensive and a little bit baroque. So I was overjoyed tonight to see the Duchess of Cambridge chose a black velvet Alexander McQueen gown for The Military Awards. This is definitely amongst my favourite Kate looks ever. The exquisite gown was strapless, with a fantail style hemline, and had a feel of Lady Diana Spencer at Goldsmith Hall in 1981 to it. Diana was criticised on that occasion for showing too much…
