Reviewed – The Becky Dress from Studio 8
A new fashion collection was launched in the Summer that had all plus size fashionistas clapping their hands with glee. Studio 8 is derived from Phase Eight, one of the most stylish brands on the High Street (and certainly one of my favourites) and it offers the same high quality design, stunning prints and fabrics, but now in sizes that go up to a size 24. The first collection offers everything from smart work wear, casual weekend pieces, and stunning evening wear and is just full of beautiful, wearable clothes. Studio 8 contacted me about reviewing the Becky dress. This is a beautiful piece, a slightly over the knee style,…

IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel Angie Dress
When it comes to my style, tea dresses reign supreme. There is something so timeless about the 1940s staple, utterly feminine, perfect for any occasion, and just so flattering on most shapes due to the knee length and usual use of sleeves. I decided to take a couple of sales bargains, a couple of vintage finds and a current favourite dress that is made for summer nights. This is a very quick outfit post to show what I chose to wear…

Everyone needs a versatile dress in Summer
What would your definition of a versatile dress be? For me, it is something that I want to have in my wardrobe because I will get lots of wear out of it, for lots of different occasions. It is a failsafe dress, one that doesn’t really need a lot of thought – you can just thrown it on. And, of course, it is super flattering and comfortable, a dress I feel good wearing. The ex White Stuff Mauve Mist printed summer dress from High Street Outlet is the latest versatile dress added to my wardrobe. It has already had three wears, all for different occasions, and I know it will…

Pick of the sales from Boden, Evans, Wallis and ASOS
It’s the strangest of scenario’s. The schools have yet to break up for Summer. Most people are still looking forward to jetting off out into the sun for their holidays. And today, the sun is shining and it is turning into a glorious day. Yet the shops, both online and in store, are in the midst of some pretty impressive sales, selling off all those lovely summery buys and looking once again towards Autumn. Now is most definitely a great time to get yourselves shopping as you will certainly find yourself a bargain. With any luck, we will have a summer like last year, which went straight into September and…
