Why Kate the Thrifty Duchess is great news!
Kate Middleton’s a true blue belle in ‘recycled’ azure coat for Prince Philip’s birthday celebrations – mirror.co.uk. Kate, Duchess of Cambridge shows no signs yet of giving up that amazing pre wedding wardrobe. After wearing a great dotted shift dress for a wedding on Saturday that she had previously worn in 2007, Kate showed yesterday why she is happy to live up to the moniker of the thrifty Duchess. Kate’s shopping trip – next stop Whistles…
Kate Middleton made a second fashion odyssey to the Kings Road yesterday on her quest for more bits and pieces for that honeymoon. This time, one of Kate’s purchases was the ‘Kate’ blouse, the £125 blouse that Kate wore on the engagement photographs by Mario Testino, which has recently been reissued by Whistles. There has been much amusement about the fact that Kate has bought a blouse she already owns, but I can’t see what the fuss is about. Hen parties – Is there a more stylish way?
This weekend…deep breath… I am going to be a hen! And if the thought of being a hen sends waves of fear running up and down your spine, I understand your terror entirely. Hen parties evoke pictures of marauding women running around in a gaggle, dressed in stupid costumes, with various parts of mens anatomy pinned to their person. There in the midst of all this is the ‘Bride‘, a terrifying creature in heavy make up and a veil, doing various dares, and loosing all dignity in the process. Recently, gossip magazines were filled with pictures of Katy Perry and Rihanna enjoying hen japes before Katy’s nuptials to Russell Brand.…
