Glastonbury Fashion – Who shone in the sun?

Glastonbury may be all about the music, but that doesn’t mean that our favourite fashionista’s let standards sleep once they hit Britain’s favourite festival. On the contrary, there are always some fabulous summer looks on display, and this year was no exception. From leopard print coats to little white dresses, shimmering gold sequins and Dolce and Gabbana playsuits, and, of course the ubiquitous Hunter Wellies, Glastonbury 2011 had some serious covetable looks on display. Here are my favourites.

Kate Moss and Coleen Rooney  got festival styling just right. Kate favoured snake-skin skinny jeans and a shrunken leather jacket, whilst Coleen teamed her shorts with a Barbour jacket and, what else, Hunter wellies. However, words fail me when it comes to Kate’s gal pal Jaime Winstone, who came fresh from a changing by the look of that suit!

Festival regular Alexa Chung sported a range of interesting looks this weekend. I loved that she was brave enough to wear that lovely white Topshop dress at the notoriously muddy festival, although the effect was slightly spoilt by the fact that Katy B wore the same dress. Full marks also to the second outfit, with the leopard print coat, fedora and Chanel 2.55 worn  nonchalantly!

The undoubted star of the weekend was the amazing Beyoncé. As well as spoiling us with a Destiny’s child medley, she glittered in a great sequined jacket and tiny hot pants which showed off that physique to perfection. And am I the only person lusting after that big hair?

Billie Piper looked fresh and cute in her simple jumper and miniskirt combo. She has been known to look unkempt on occasion, but I think she looked just right this weekend.

Giving Beyoncé a run for her money was the always stylish Shingai Shoniwa from The Noisettes, who wore a tiny Dolce and Gabbana designed playsuit. I love that she wore something so glamorous to the festival.
