Nancy Shevell – one stylish bride!
The most stylish women of the past week has to be the new Mrs Paul McCartney. Last Sunday Paul made the American heiress Nancy Shevell his third wife, and she looked absolutely amazing. Wearing a knee-length, 1940s inspired dress created by her new daughter-in-law Stella, Nancy showed off the sort of ageless glamour that so many of today’s starlets can only dream of. (Yes..I mean you, The Saturdays…) I tweeted about how fantastic I thought Nancy looked in that simple yet elegant dress, and was amazed at how many other people seemed to be of the same opinion. Zara Taylor London – My picks.
I was recently invited to choose some pieces from the fabulous jewellery collection of Zara Taylor London. For those not familiar with the brand, Zara Taylor jewellery is full of beautiful, vintage inspired pieces that incorporate vintage beads and stones into new designs. Celebrity fans include Taylor Swift, Jessie J, and the girls from Made In Chelsea. When Kerry Katona entered the Big Brother House, she was wearing a Zara Taylor design. Here are the pieces I chose from the latest collection.…

So embrace a bit of black magic and make this Halloween the most spooky, and yet most stylish ever. Poster girls for Gothic Glamour. Here are some of the key picks for the Halloween trend. This week we have been treated to sightings of both Middleton sister’s wearing evening attire. And it seems that long-sleeved and demure are the buzzwords when it comes to the looks they have both chosen to adopt. Ladylike and glamorous would definitely apply to both dresses, heralding a new era of grown-up evening style. Kate attended the 100 women in hedge funds black tie gala wearing a beautiful, vibrant red jersey dress with chiffon sleeves by London Label Beulah. The dress, named ‘Sarai’. was another astute choice by Kate, for the Beulah label was started by Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs to provide work for victims of human trafficking in India.…

Downton Abbey sparks new/old trends.
We all know that TV programmes can help to set trends. Mad Men, Sex and The City and Desperate Housewives have all helped to set trends and have made fashion stars out of Sarah Jessica Parker, Christina Hendricks and Marcia Cross. Yes, you heard correctly, the period drama Downton Abbey, currently stuck somewhere in World War One.
