On Mothering Sunday I thought I’d do a little style salute to some very stylish mothers. These are ladies who haven’t abandoned their signature style just because they have little ones. Ladies who still rock those heels and little black dresses, and always appear without a hair out-of-place and a perfectly made up face. The Duchess of Cambridge adopted a super stylish dressed down look today as she visited the new Olympic Park in London. Eschewing the recent chic suits and coat dresses that she has worn on recent visits, Kate opted for bright, cropped jeans, a military style blazer, teamed with a jauntily tied scarf in patriotic red, white and blue. Alexa Chung’s new fashion role
The fashion phenomenon that is Alexa Chung continues to move from strength to strength. The Elle style icon winner’s importance to the British Fashion Industry has been further endorsed by the announcement of her role as spokesperson for this year’s British style collective. The collective is an annual temporary boutique at Bicester Village that showcases the cream of British design, from Markus Lupfer, Peter Pilotto, Nicholas Kirkwood and Holly Fulton, amongst others.
