More ways to get that Middleton look
Whilst Kate seems to be having a break after a flurry of High profile appearances, her influence on British fashion continues to flourish. I spend lots of time trawling the internet looking at new collections from High Street and Web-based companies, and seem to spend an awful lot of time saying ‘that looks like something the Duchess of Cambridge has worn’. With Kate’s impeccable taste now shown to be retail catnip, it is no wonder that so many companies are trying to harness some of the Kate Effect. The good news is that there are High street buys amongst the looks, as well as investment looks from very exclusive brands. Here are a few of the looks that kept me sane whilst I was parted from my laptop. Olivia Palermo is one of the best dressed ladies around, and has a…

Aegon Classic Ladies day Launch at Hotel Du Vin
Fashion and sport were perfectly fused last week for the launch of the Aegon Classic’s first tennis ladies day, held in Birmingham’s beautiful Hotel Du Vin. A mixture of bloggers, stylish ladies and gents, and sporty professionals were invited to hear all about the event, which promises to be a new highlight on Birmingham’s fashion and sports calendar. There was a chat about the links between sport and fashion by Muireen Carey-Campbell from the blog Bangs and a Bun, whilst Claudia Santillo and Benjamin from the Benjamin Ryan salon were on hand to demonstrate the sports influence on this season’s hair styles. Guests were also given a preview of the…
