February Outfit Post
Last Month was a pretty dreadful month for my family, if all truth be told. My little boy had an operation which went wrong and led to a stay in hospital. He was then taken seriously ill again after infection took a hold, and we were honestly in danger of losing him. I spent large portions of last month in hospital with Joe, or dressed in pjs as we caught up on sleep and had cosy days at home. So this post is based on the times I did get out and about, to do reviews and to see family. Once again, I have been picking up bits in the…

Never forget again with the ‘Must Remember That’ App
In our busy modern lives, we seem to have more and more things to remember. From birthdays, important work meetings, appointments and family and friend dates, we can often fill a diary or a notice board twice over. Add in special dates concerning our children and their schools (and my lad has a busier social calendar than I do with football matches, Birthday parties, school events and sports training), and you would have to have a mind of an elephant not to forget some of these things, leading to some embarrassing moments. That’s why I am so pleased with the ‘Must Remember that’ app, which supports the website you can…

Using e-cigs to quit smoking
When we look back at the trends and products that defined the ‘tweens’ (2010s…not really sure if that is the right word, but then again not sure what else it could be.), the e-cigarette will definitely be in the list. As traditional smoking has seen figures fall due to both health and cost implications, ,more and more people have turned to the e-cig as a way to save money or as an healthier option. Whether it be the electronic cigarette that still resembles a ciggie, or the vapour style kits that have different flavour options, e-cigs are here to stay. I personally think this is a very good thing, because…

Things You Can Do in the North West For a Weekend Getaway
Staying in the UK for holidays is becoming more and more common. Going abroad can be expensive, especially with children. Despite the UK being a small little island, there is plenty to do. There are so many places that I know I have not visited before. One area I’d like to explore more is the north-west. There are a lot of places that I have not been before. So I just thought I’d share some of the things I know you can do, and things that I would like to do. There is a lot of green space in the north-west. Just thinking about the lake district and all that…

Mother’s Day Ideas from this works
If you ask me, every day should be Mother’s Day, but this year the official day to treat all moms and mother figures is March 6th, which just happens to be this Sunday (and also my dad’s birthday too so there goes my bank balance.) Now, it is a well known fact that the majority of people buying Mother’s Day presents will be men, purchasing them on behalf of their little darlings, and that means that most presents will be purchased, in a rush and panic, this weekend. Flowers and chocolates will be picked up with a vengeance, but what most mother’s would really like is some ‘me-time; that comprises…
