Beefeater Spring Menu Review – Longford House
Beefeater have this week launched their spring menu, combining old favourites with new combinations and dishes. Last night I took my boys along to sample some of the new dishes and the hospitality of my local Beefeater Grill, which is situated in the beautiful Longford House in Cannock. Once again, we were impressed by the quality of the dishes, both in terms of presentation and flavour, and also really looked after in terms of service from all the staff. Garden Plans for Spring
After the cold of Winter, when my garden is left abandoned and unloved, I look forward to getting back outside when Spring comes. We are lucky to have a rather large garden with a large lawn and a double patio area that is great for barbecues and rest and relaxation on warm Summer evenings. Last year we invested in new garden furniture and an antique wood burner. What are your most treasured family possessions? I’m sure if I asked my seven year old son that question he would immediately say his play station, or his rather huge collection of football kits. But, as an adult, possessions that can easily be replaced are not so high up on the agenda when it comes to our treasures. Since it was founded in 1979. Cloggs has been a great place to find branded shoes and boots at really great prices. Currently it has a fabulous range of shoes for men, women and children from the likes of Fitflop, Birkenstocks, Converse, Joules and, my personal favourite, a range from Clarks that includes shoes from the iconic Clarks Originals.
