A round up of June’s most fashionable events.

June has seen many ultra fashionable events, but Fashion-Mommy has been enjoying herself in the sun, and so unable to write in detail about them all. But, fear not, here are a rundown of some of the most fabulous outfits from the most fabulous events.

Enjoy!

CDFA Awards

The Fashion Oscars never fails to impress with its fashion forward looks, as only to be expected on one of the industries most important nights. Here are my pick of the most stylish stars.

Jessica Alba shows Cheryl Cole exactly how to do colour blocking in Diane Von Furstenberg. Pregnant and absolutely glowing, she cleverly sticks to just two colours, rather than overdoing the paintbox shades.

She’s been a bit quiet lately, but Naomi Watts looks uncannily like Gwyneth Paltrow in this shimmering Calvin Klein dress. With her blonde hair and colouring, she looks like a goddess. Very, Very good!

Loving how Mary Kate and Ashley are becoming walking adverts for their fashion label ‘The Row’. Groomed and ultra stylish, I’m particularly loving those neat satchel style bags.

Wow! This lady had a baby six months ago and now looks like a modern-day super hero. I just love the ultra modern styling of Miranda Kerr’s Michael Kors dress. The black and gold shoes are pretty special too!

Marcia Cross looks absolutely amazing in this Pamella Roland jumpsuit.  I’m thinking Penelope Ann Miller in Carlito’s Way, and the violet shade is fabulous against that red hair. I LOVE THIS LOOK.

There’s something about this Atelier Swarovski jumpsuit worn by Karolina Kurkova that reminds me of Kylie Minogue in ‘I can’t get you out of my head’ video. It’s probably the hood. But on its own merits I’m loving that shade of green and the amazing red shoes too.

AMFAR Bash Paris

Two attendees stood out for me on the night. I adored the old Hollywood glamour of Dita Von Teese, a star who just seems to have walked through time from the 1940s, whilst Roisin Murphy also adopted a classic era film star look in black sequins.

Elton John’s White tie and Tiara Ball

Always a stylish summer event, with guests ranging from Beth Ditto to Sarah, Duchess of York. The best dressed guests were Alexa Chung,  in a dreamy vintage  polka dot dress, and India Hicks,  designer and former bridesmaid of Princess Diana, who wore a stunning Victoria Beckham dress. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie also looked fabulous in Elie Saab and Vivienne Westward respectively.

Glamour Awards

Naomie Harris looked sleek in Azzaro, whilst Dawn  French showed off her 5 stone weight loss in a pretty black kaftan, but Kim Kardashian was a stand out in slinky black Dolce and Gabbana. She looked glossy and groomed to perfection.

Critics choice TV awards

A daytime awards ceremony that most struggled to dress for. Cat Deeley looked ok, but that white Dolce and Gabbana look is now seriously overworked. The best dressed were award winner Christina Hendricks in a simple black dress, and Zooey Deschenel, who got the daytime  mix just right in her usual kooky style in an Andrew Gn dress and fantastic vintage style bag.

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to the world of fashion-mommy, a world of fashion, lifestyle, theatre and fun. Enjoy the ride.
