A Grand Central John Lewis Focus
You would probably need to have been living on the moon or planet Mars not to know that last week was a very special one for Birmingham. Grand Central Birmingham had its official opening and is already proving to be a huge success, not least because of its amazing flaghip John Lewis store. I went along on Thursday to the opening and was just so impressed with how lovely it really is, and from the thousands of people who descended on the city last weekend, and the huge buzz you could feel everywhere, I guess I am not the only one. The John Lewis store is bright and vibrant, with…

John Greed Origami Flamingo
One of the biggest fashion print trends of 2015 has been the flamingo print. These elegant, graceful creatures have adorned dresses, scarves, bags and tops including styles worn by celebrities such as Alexa Chung, Charlotte Crosby, Sam Faiers and Rita Ora, amongst others. I love flamingo prints and couldn’t resist snapping up a cute flamingo print dress for a rather bargainous £7 this summer. And now I have added another pretty flamingo to my growing collection in the lovely form of the white gold plated silver origami silver flamingo necklace from the John Greed Origami collection. John Greed is well known for stocking brands like Pandora, Thomas Sabo and Links…

Did you know that today is officially the last day of Summer? Yes, the Autumn Equinox is tomorrow, 23rd September, and Summer (or what we had of it this year), is no more. Because now the new season is officially here, you have every excuse to add something warm, cosy and oh so stylish to your own Autumn collection. F&F New Season Picks
The latest drop from F&F, fresh for Autumn 15, is now arriving in stores, and the 70s influence is apparent. Called Modern Retro, the collection is full of wide legged trousers, suede, fringes and muted colours that come straight from the decade that has had a style re-evaluation in recent times. The collection is rather lovely, I see an influence from the cool retro looks of Rosie Fortescue and Millie Mackintosh in the use of faux fur and wide brimmed hats. Many of the trends from last summer are still here, but have been remoulded for the colder weather Autumn/Winter brings. So we are still seeing fabulous cullotes, both in…

Shapeology Fashion Week with Marisota
One of my favourite online fashion destinations is Marisota. I love the choice, the range of sizes (which I find to be very generous) and the gorgeous quality. I love the fact that it stocks top brands, and that one of my fave fashion people, Mr Mark Heyes, is a brand ambassodor, creating the lovely Ava range too. With the new season almost upon us, next week Marisota is holding it’s very own online Shapeology Fashion Week. Each day, the Marisota website will be hosting a different ‘trend’ on the homepage with emai; communication and social media showing how you ‘CanWear’ new season trends with confidence! They have also created…
