When you’re feeling blue…it’s time to get a watch
I recently wrote a post about one easy way to add colour to your wardrobe by adding bright coloured dresses. In that post (which you can read here) I focused on a couple of my favourite colours, yellow and blue. But for some people, wearing something so ostentatious and eye-catching is just not an option. Not everyone feels confident enough to wear bright colours, preferring to stick to neutrals or a much darker palette. For those people, accessories are a much easier way to add a splash of brightness to an outfit, you can still keep to wearing black, white, beiges and browns, but with a little colour pop to…

Made in Chelsea is back
Made is Chelsea is back. Yes, my absolute fave reality docu-soap/drama (delete as applicable because I’m never really sure what it is) is back on E4 tonight, and I have to admit to being more than a little excited. I don’t know what it is about Made in Chelsea that keeps me enthralled and coming back for more, it might be the tangled love life of the odious, yet strangely compelling Spencer Matthews, or maybe it is the fact that my best friend used to live in that part of London and I become slightly obsessed with the Kings Road and surrounding areas, so now love to spot them on…

Celebrity style special featuring Holly Willoughby, Tess Daly, Heidi Klum and The Wanted
A new month means a new look to what some of our favourite celebrities have been wearing over the past few weeks. During that time Spring has sprung with some unusually gorgeous weather, although we now seem to be living in the middle of a dust bowl! The warm weather has introduced some gorgeous Spring looks, including Holly Willoughby continuing her love of polka dots in a lovely touch of Wallis and Lucy Mecklenberg introducing her gorgeous beach attire in Mya Blue Luxe (and just how beautiful is that silk hand painted top I ask you). The Towie ladies are in fine form to be honest, and seem to be…

Style Classic – Hunter Wellies
There are some things in your wardrobe that can be classified as ‘style classics’. The crisp white shirt, a beige trenchcoat, the little black dress, you can probably name a few others. And when it comes to Wellington boots, only one brand really deserves to be labelled as classic, and that has got to be Hunter. I’m not sure why Hunter Wellies have this cachet rather than other brands. British made and sturdy, these boots are the epitome of cool, being loved by everyone, from the festival going crowds wading through the mud at Glastonbury, to the country set who wear them on long, rambling walks through the English Countryside,…

Spring brings the Nautical look to Next
When it comes to Springtime, one trend reigns supreme. The nautical trend is an ever present in the cycle of yearly fashion, as the sun starts to appear, so do the stripes, the navy and white, and that oh so crisp cotton. I don’t know why nautical style is such a popular trend. Maybe it is the fact that we associate sunshine with the seaside, with beaches and with swimming and sailing, and so items of apparel that reflect this particular obsession prove very fitting. Maybe it is the nature of the colours, the white and navy look both clean and smart, and seem to scream Summer? Whatever the answer…
