TV BAFTAS – The best looks
Last night was the TV BAFTAS, which saw the most stylish stars of the small screen walking the red carpet. Anna Friel, Thandie Newton, Suranne Jones and Tess and Claudia were amongst those who turned up to celebrate the most glittering night in the television calendar and were also amongst the best dressed, with Thandie and Anna taking my own personal vote. The designs were surprisingly varied, most award ceremonies this year have seen very similar styles, or a run on one particular colour, but the BAFTAS ranged from very elegant little black dress styles sported by the likes of Jessica Raine, slinky cocktail dresses like the sugar pink Roland…

Finding your perfect glasses with Perfect Glasses
I am in the odd one out in my family. My mom, sister and brother all wear glasses due to poor eyesight (although Mom does venture into contact lense territory at times.) My dad wears glasses for reading too, so the only person who doesn’t wear glasses is me, which, I have to be honest, sometimes leads to me feeling a little left out. Many of Rei’s designs could be classed as works of art rather than wearable fashion, and this meant that this year’s celebration would either follow the theme and (if we are being honest) look a like bit crazy and ridiculous, or would ignore it completely (like the Victoria’s Secret models and the Jenner girls do every year) and then risk…

A Red Carpet night for ‘All or Nothing’ at The New Alex Theatre
Friday night saw a red carpet event and aftershow party for ‘All or Nothing’. the Mod musical which tells the story of the rise and fall of 1960s band ‘The Small Faces’. Held at the New Alex Theatre, where it was coming to the end of a very successful run. the red carpet event included Vespas, lots of wine, and an eclectic audience made up of Mods, celebrities and music fans. They were all in for a treat with a musical that is, by turns, laugh out loud funny, and a sombre reflection of the nature of the music industry in the 1960s, where thugs/businessmen like Don Arden chewed up…
