Raised By Wolves – Wolverhampton Cineworld Preview
On Tuesday I took part in a very special coach trip, with Caitlin and Caroline Moran and the cast of ‘Raised by Wolves’, their new television series that is coming to Channel 4 very soon. (You’ve probably seen the adverts by now ‘…I’m talking cystitis Germaine…’), As I previously mentioned, the coach trip came to an end at Cineworld, Bentley Bridge, where we were treated to a preview of a couple of episodes from the series, and then a Q&A session with the writers, and the stars of the show Helen Monks and Alexa Davies, who play Germaine and Aretha respectively. From the previews, the series is going to be…

Raised By Wolves – A coach trip with Caitlin Moran
*Warning – this post is about a coach trip with Caitlin and Caroline Moran, it may contain chat about periods, sex and Wolverhampton – you have been warned. Raised By Wolves is a new, semi-autobiographical comedy series written by Wolverhampton’s very own Caitlin and Caroline (Caz) Moran. Transported to the modern day, but based on the rather unorthodox childhood of the Moran family, Raised by Wolves is a wry, often hilarious, heart-warming tale of teenage girls growing up disgracefully. The series launches on Channel 4 very soon, and, to celebrate the launch, Caitlin and Caz invited guests on a very special coach trip – a guided tour of the beauty…

Best looks from The Brits
The Brit Awards offers the cream of the British music industry the chance to get dressed up and generally let their hair down whilst enjoying the copious amounts of hospitality (ahem!) on offer. The latest ceremony has been totally overshadowed by Madonna, an Armani cape and a pretty spectacular fall, but on the fashion front it was a certain Miss Paloma Faith who took all the plaudits. Paloma was awarded a much deserved Best Female Singer award on the night, and wore three showstopping looks, including Armani Prive and Dolce and Gabbana. She looked every inch the star, even when performing in a rainstorm. I’ve been a fan of Paloma…

The Sainsbury’s Indoor Grand Prix – Just record breaking!
Saturday 21st February 2015 will be a date that will forever be embedded in my memory. It is the day I attended my first, proper athletics event, the Sainsbury’s Indoor GP at Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena. It was a day I enjoyed wonderful hospitality whilst marveling at the pace and prowess of the likes of Kim Collins, Greg Rutherford and Nigel Levine. And it is the day I cheered, shook and literally screamed myself hoarse as the legendary Mo Farah broke the world record in the men’s 2 mile race. It was an unbelievable day. Joe has been interested in Athletics since the Olympics in 2012. He became fairly obsessed with…

Oscars 2015 – My favourite looks
The most glittering night on the Awards calendar came and went with a whimper last night. The Oscars used to always be the ceremony where you were promised something wonderful and something wacky, and interesting night of true fashion and memorable looks that would stay in the fashion memory long after who had actually won had faded. But that was then. The best way to sum up this year’s ceremony choices would be ‘safe’. There were plenty of ‘nice’ dresses, with both nominees and presenters looking elegant and pretty on the red carpet. My favourite looks included the uber glamorous Margot Robbie in a YSL dress that made her look…
