Cannes – Best looks
Cannes is always the most glamorous and elegant of all the film festivals, I would go as far as to say it is the most fabulous event on the fashion calendar, it is certainly my favourite. This year was a vintage Cannes for style watchers, with appearances by judge and style icon Nicole Kidman, Diane Kruger, Elizabeth Olsen and Lily Collins. In addition, there was an appearance by style maverick Tilda Swinton (who basically slayed in a series of classic looks) and a whole raft of supermodels, including Sara Sampio, Bella Hadid (another lady having a knockout Cannes), Kendall Jenner and veteran Amber Valleta. The dresses ranged from the slinky…

Make Groupon a Regular Part of a Financial Life
It’s easy to approach your personal finances just like people have for dozens of years: save, pay off debt, invest, etc. While these are timeless skills that won’t go out of fashion anytime soon, it’s easy to forget about modern resources that make saving money easier. Case in point: Groupon. Groupon is one of the few money-saving resources that has stood the test of time on the internet. TV BAFTAS – The best looks
Last night was the TV BAFTAS, which saw the most stylish stars of the small screen walking the red carpet. Anna Friel, Thandie Newton, Suranne Jones and Tess and Claudia were amongst those who turned up to celebrate the most glittering night in the television calendar and were also amongst the best dressed, with Thandie and Anna taking my own personal vote. The designs were surprisingly varied, most award ceremonies this year have seen very similar styles, or a run on one particular colour, but the BAFTAS ranged from very elegant little black dress styles sported by the likes of Jessica Raine, slinky cocktail dresses like the sugar pink Roland…

April Outfit Post #OOTD
A little later than usual, here is my outfit round up for the month of April. April was a busy month of Theatre, Easter and a week in the Welsh sunshine. In terms of weather, the only word I could use is variable – which meant that outfits spanned from woolly jumpers for unseasonably chilly days, to bare legs and short sleeves when the thermometer hit 21 degrees one glorious Sunday. This post is rather full of vintage and charity shop finds. I love wearing dresses, and lately they seem to be of a variety that looks like it has come straight from ‘Bless this House’ or the wardrobe of…

Attention! The New Rules On Modern Military Dressing
Pexels Photo: Unsplash There are a few fashion trends that never go out of style and amongst them is the most popular theme in women’s fashion. Military chic isn’t just super cool, uniform and streamlined but gives designers carte blanche to add zips, chains, brass buttons and fringe based epaulettes. Previously, loyal fashion foot soldiers have donned army jackets, structured khaki dresses and tight knit pants but thanks to a more off-duty approach to relaxed dressing military is ripping up the rule book for a fresh utilitarian look. Bright, White And Beautiful In 2017, the fashion rules are being rewritten as dull greens, uniform trays and air force blues are…
