A love for Biba Bags
One of my main fashion obsessions is handbags. I have a huge collection that is stored literally everywhere in my house – in cupboards, under my bed, at the bottom of my wardrobe, in my office, basically anywhere I can find a little space. When it comes to a payday treat I will always be drawn to the handbag department, and in terms of brands, it is Biba that I love the most. Biba is a brand that was founded in the 1960s by the legendary Barbara Hulanicki. It was resurrected as a brand name by House of Fraser a few years ago, bringing the brand’s Art Deco style decadence…

High Street Outlet Joanna Occasion Party Dress
High Street Outlet is one of my most visited websites. I love great quality High Street pieces, and totally love a bargain, so it stands to reason that I would love a site that offers up to 70% off the recommended retail price. The website has new lines added every week, with warm winter coats being added at the moment, so this is not just a site where you can pick up a bargain to put away until next summer, you can buy things that you can actually wear now. I am lucky enough to have a lovely relationship with High Street Outlet where they often send me clothes to…

Halloween fashion ‘thrillers’
When you ask most people what they love about the month of October, they will probably mention Halloween in their answer. There are plenty of celebrities to take your Halloween inspiration from, because, let’s face it, some celebrities love nothing more than getting dressed up in their best spooky costumes come All Hallows Eve. Kim…

DP Curve is launched
This week has seen the launch of the latest plus size collection to hit the High Street. This time around it is Dorothy Perkins who are expanding their range with DP Curve, a new collection that goes from sizes 18 to 28. Dorothy Perkins promise that this collection is specially designed to ‘fit and flatter a fuller figure’. I have been browsing the site this morning, and have selected my favourite 10 pieces. I like that the collection seems to have something to suit all tastes. There are skinny jeans and leggings with tunics and tops for the rock chick and pretty skater style dresses that will appeal to younger…

Style Birmingham Live 2015 – fashion fun in Brum
Last weekend saw all the glamorous people flock to Birmingham for Style Birmingham Live 2015. Held in the Gas Hall of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, shows took place over the Saturday and Sunday and featured a range of outfits put together using the best of the Birmingham’s High Street and Independent names. The show was also a showcase for the newly opened John Lewis, who opened the show, and for the hit television show Peaky Blinders, which is famously set in the city in the 1920s. Style Birmingham seems to go from strength to strength, this year it was expertly helmed by the partnership of ‘The Two Marks’…
