An F&F Autumn fashion preview
It might seem to be a bit perverse that just as summer is finally upon us, we start to look at the next season, Autumn and Winter. But fashion is like that, Spring is the season of the Autumn/Winter press days and today I have some of the shots from the F&F Clothing collections that will appear in stores from August. Like Spring/Summer, the big news story is the 1970s. No longer the decade that style forgot, we are now seeing all the best elements – tailored flares and culottes, silk long sleeved blouses with pussy bow ties and printed tea dresses with knee high boots. Sienna Miller – Queen of Cannes
The Cannes film festival finished on Sunday, and I have to say I really enjoyed the glamorous fashion that had been on display this year. There were some truly beautiful looks worn by the likes of Lupita Nyong’u, Julianne Moore, Fan BingBing and Kendall Jenner, but, in my opinion, grand jury member Sienna Miller was the Queen of Cannes style, with a series of stylish, memorable looks. Get the celebrity look with Alexa Chung, Lilah Parsons and Lydia Bright
It seems like an age since I have posted a celebrity looks piece, so I am now addressing the balance by featuring some of my favourite celebrity styles that you can find currently on the High Street, or online. First up we have that (now infamous) suede skirt that seemed to simultaneously kick start the current 1970s trend and offer the promise of saving M&S for another season when it was worn by Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung. It is now available in store, but doesn’t come cheap at almost £200 (it is totally divine though, it has to be said.) But, with the price in mind, I am also…

Shoezone review – Haute Hippie festival style
I first became a fan of Shoezone when Joe was small. They sold the cutest t-bar canvas shoes that had a real retro feel and were a total bargain (2 pairs for £8 as I recall.) I loved them, and of course I had a look at the ladies selection, and found it to be full of really pretty sandals and flat pumps, all of which were really affordable. I was converted and now regularly buy shoes from the brand. I was recently offered the opportunity to review a pair of shoes, sandals or boots from their current lines. I was spoiled for choice, but decided that, as it was…
