Reviewed – Aqua Sphere Seal Kid 2 Swimmask
My little boy Joe has been having swimming lessons for almost a year now, and has just won his second swimming badge (proud mommy moment!) He’s also reaching that age when he desperately wants to wear swimming goggles for his lessons, but I have to admit I have a real problem with this, for a good many reasons. I am not a fan of general swimming goggles, they are often cheaply made and ill fitting. They often suffer for being far too tight on your child’s face, or not tight enough and therefore letting water in. Hard to adjust and not comfortable to wear, I have found swim goggles to…

My first Swimwear review – Lascana from Swimwear 365
When I attended the Look Again press event in February, I was really impressed by the swimwear brand Swimwear 365, who were also exhibiting their Spring/Summer range for 2014. Making our own Easter Eggs…a bit of a disaster
Some women deserve the term ‘Domestic Goddess.’ They swan around the kitchen in best Nigella mode, making the most mouthwatering creations from scratch, baking their own bread and cakes, seemingly able to rustle up a three course meal from a block of cheese and a bag of potatoes. Sad to say, I am not one of those women. In fact, I couldn’t be further removed from the term ‘Domestic Goddess’, ‘Domestic embarrassment would be more apt. You see, I really hate cooking, I hate it with a passion. So whilst some lovely ladies litter their blogs with culinary delights, I clog up my Facebook feed with ‘OMG!’ moments from the…

Half term holiday ideas
After waiting what has seemed like an eternity for a holiday, Easter will soon be upon us. What is more, it will be quickly followed by Mayday and then the Whitsun break. Yes, holiday season is here, so now might be the perfect time for thinking about a short break, or a longer vacation. With schools now taking a dim view on parent’s who take their children out of school, holidays have become an even more expensive luxury for those who decide to play by the rules. But there are hotels you can find in last minute deals that offer real bargains, and there are also other ways of keeping…
