Getting Crafty this Easter
Spring is a wonderful time of year for fashion but for busy parents it also means Easter, and that means the school holidays. And that means two or three weeks of finding activities to keep the children entertained and happy – which is never an easy task. It’s usually okay if the weather’s decent; play in the garden, go to the park, stroll around a farm, that kind of thing. Loving the Christmas Markets!
Last weekend I made the most of the mild weather by visiting not one, but two Christmas Markets. Trip one took in the Lincoln Christmas market, set in and around the beautiful surroundings of Lincoln Castle. Disney Dare to Dream charms at The NIA
The latest Disney on Ice show hit Birmingham last week, with a special VIP performance at the NIA. Disney’s Dare to Dream is a celebration of the most magical of Disney characters, the Fairytale princesses, with particular emphasis on four of those lovely ladies. A show full of sparkle and magic, ‘Dare to Dream’ charmed even those hardest of hearts with glitter, romance and utterly enchanting ice dance. Before the show Joe and my niece Lia were thrilled to meet the very beautiful Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Her exquisite gown was a lovely taster of what was to come, with fabulous attention to detail measuring the Disney…

Kiniki – Perfect pieces for a half term getaway
With half term almost upon us (yes, it really has fled that quickly) many families are looking at a late getaway to grab a little bit of sun. With the nights starting to draw in, and lower temperatures promised by the end of the week, the image of relaxing around a swimming pool catching some warm rays is a very tempting one, especially with our summer suntan already faded. If you are one of the lucky ones planning a getaway this October, you should take a look at Kiniki, and its fabulous range of tan-through swimwear and beach cover-ups. I’m a huge fan of tan-through costumes because I truly believe…
