It’s the weekend – so what to do?
I love that Friday feeling when you know the weekend is finally here. Even though I work from home, I take time off at the weekend to get out and about and to enjoy quality family time with my little boy and hubby. Sometimes (if we’re very lucky) this can involve ‘date night’, at other times we can have a special activity or event planned that we are all involved in. If you’re still deciding what to do with your weekend, here are a few things you could be doing – and none of them involve shopping! If you have no children LFW It’s London Fashion Week and the fun…

Get the Celebrity look featuring Rita Ora, Lily Collins and Millie Mackintosh
The latest ‘get the look’ post has a bit of a best of British feel to it. It includes some celebrity looks from London Fashion Week, stars of daytime television who show just how stylish the High Street can be, and a diversity of footwear ranging from boots to trainers. We have Rita Ora’s collaboration with Adidas, the ‘Pastel Pack’, a trainer and hi-top that come in deliciously girlie shades of pink and blue. Laura Whitmore and Downton’s Laura Carmichael show of their London Fashion Week style in Kilian Kerner and Topshop Unique respectively. I have added a link to track to Laura’s coat, but have also included some pieces…

Get the LFW look with the ASOS Daily Edit
With London Fashion Week in full swing, ASOS has been bringing us the best picks for what to wear to be front row ready. Each day, ASOS personal stylist, and admitted trendaholic Megan Ellaby has been bringing us a daily edit from the voluminous ASOS ranges, and edit that offers cool pieces that would not look out-of-place at London Fashion Week. It seems that Megan is totally on the ball when it comes to her choices, as some of the styles are very similar to those being worn to the most exclusive shows this season. Model Laura Bailey has been photographed wearing mannish pieces, wide leg trousers and men’s style…

My LPSFW outfit + Win! with Clothing at Tesco.
Last week I was invited to attend London Plus size Fashion Weekend as a guest of Tesco. Of course I said ‘Yes!’ in my loudest voice, and then proceeded to squeal for a good many minutes when they said I would be able to choose an outfit from the Clothing at Tesco site to wear on the day. As a fan of F&F, this was a fantastic opportunity to test drive pieces from the range, although I knew just settling on one outfit wouldn’t be easy. I knew I wanted to choose a dress, and there were a few that caught the eye, including a fabulous silk feel shirt dress…

Grab a bargain designed by the ‘Rock and Roll Cobbler’
Popular shoe retailers Spartoo are fast becoming the place to find the best bargains in terms of designer shoes. Last month I showed you that you the fabulous range of Rupert Sanderson shoes that you could purchase for a fraction of their suggested retail price, and this month I’m turning my gaze towards the ‘Rock and Roll Cobbler’, the one and only Terry De Havilland. Terry De Havilland has been making extraordinary shoes beloved of the stars since the 1960s, with Kate Moss, The Saturdays, Melanie C, Sienna Miller and Mischa Barton, amongst others, being huge fans of his Margaux wedges. Terry’s shoes always have a touch of the dramatic…
