A stunning Ness and Pepper silk scarf.
One of the greatest things about being a fashion blogger is the opportunity to discover new design talents who bring something different to the style world. A recent discovery of mine, and one which I have just fallen in love with, is the wonderful world of Ness and Pepper scarves. The range was launched this season and is the brainchild of Award Winning photographer Vanessa Warren. The beautiful designs and prints on her Chinese silk scarves are inspired by her fashion photography, and her travels around the world. And they are truly awe-inspiring in their beauty. The Ness and Pepper collection features Vanessa’s four statement pieces, Untitled Stars, Colombian Roses,…

Kate Middleton earns her spots and stripes.
As one of Team GB’s most glamorous supporters, The Duchess of Cambridge has perfected a style that is both chic and smart, but does not draw undue attention from the athletes. It seems in the last few days that when she hasn’t been wearing official TEAM GB pieces that polo tops and tracksuit jackets, that she has stuck to a wardrobe of skinny jeans teamed with a blazer, and a palette of mainly (what else?) red, white and blue. The Smythe blazer made a second appearance this week when it was teamed with a Breton striped vest top – a real summer classic. Breton stripes are always such a cool…

Duchess Kate wears Roksanda Ilincic to the Royal Academy
The Duchess of Cambridge summer wardrobe of style continued today, with two appearances by Kate, at the equestrian event to support Zara Philips (who was superb by the way…), and then at an event at The Royal Academy she wore a beautiful dress by one of my favourite designers, Roksanda Ilincic. But first to the equestrian ground. Kate was in casual mode, wearing the gorgeous Smythe blazer that we first saw during the tour of Canada last summer. Skinny jeans, the Stuart Weitzman wedges and a crisp white shirt completed the look, which had a very preppy edge to it. Every girl needs a smart blazer in their wardrobe, Kate…

Paloma Faith brings her retro glamour to the Torch relay
Who else would roll up those trousers of the special torch relay tracksuit, put a 1940s style roll to the hair, and then add a rather gorgeous, totally glamorous but dangerously high pair of red platforms to carry the Olympic torch? It could only be that beautifully eccentric goddess Paloma Faith of course. Paloma never does anything less than full on glamour, and the torch relay proved to be no exception. Yes, this event did involve some walking, and yes, everyone else had worn trainers, but Paloma is an old star movie star transported from the 1940s to the present day, so anything flat and sensible on the feet was…

Competition Time: Love and Fashion-Mommy are celebrating their second birthday!
If you wanted to name the hottest celebrity brand of the last two years, you would be hard pressed to get any further than ‘LOVE’. Since it’s launch two years ago,’ In love With Fashion’ has been a total celebrity favourite, with its gorgeous dresses, jumpers and jackets being worn by the likes of Denise Van Outen, The Saturdays, Fearne Cotton, Alysson Hannigan, Cheska Hull, Alexandra Burke and almost all of the TOWIE girls, from Lydia Bright, Sam and Billie Faiers, Jess Wright, Chloe Sims and Lauren Pope. It’s not surprising really, Love’s dresses are frankly just so pretty, and you can tell how much the fashionista’s love them as…
