Finally – a social networking site for those who live and breathe through the Fashion Industry. A new fashion networking site has been launched for professionals in the fashion industry and dedicated followers of fashion. The site is open to all fashionistas and is totally free to join. Called Fashionista Central, this new site provides a forum where members can create their own profile page, upload pictures and videos, blog updates, make events and groups and meet other people in the industry. Like most people, I only watched one programme on the tv last night. The long running horror story that played put before our eyes on Sky News, as a mundane Monday night turned into some sort of Armageddon. I watched with horror as mindless, violent yobs tore through city centres with violence, destruction and theft on their minds. And I felt sick as I saw some places that were very special to me, that held some fond memories, have their hearts torn out. CiCi PR & Events Press day – Fashion-Mommy mingles with the Celebs!
Last Thursday, the fabulous PR company CiCi PR & Events, which is headed by the wonderful Cristie Herbert, host a successful Press Day and Celebrity Gifting Suite. This was held at Jalouse Members Club, No17 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London, and Fashion-Mommy was lucky enough to be on the guest list. The event was to showcase a range of impressive, High End, collections that included boudoir delights from the vintage inspired Tallulah Love, swimwear from Nardis Beach and the stunning ‘Call of the Whale’ swimwear collection from Australian label Lisa Blue. BHS present a wonderful, traditional Christmas…in July!
I was lucky enough to be put on the guest list for the BHS Christmas in July press preview last week. This was a real treat for me as BHS is always one of my must visit destinations at Christmas, mainly for its fantastic array of Christmas decorations.
