Christmas comes Early with Unineed
With the last bank holiday of the year well and truly over, and with children returning back to school after the summer break, I think it is safe to say that Autumn is well and truly here. With the start of the new season, I’m afraid to say I start to look ahead to Christmas, to make my lists and do some forward planning, trying to find a few bargains along the way. I have good reasons for getting stuck into the Christmas shopping so early – my little boy also has a Christmas birthday, and I have special family birthdays in October and November, as well as two family…

The Autumn Collection from Phase Eight
The Autumn collections are coming thick and fast, and this Saturday I’ve decided to turn my attention to the fabulous new collection from one of my favourite High Street brands, Phase Eight. Phase Eight can always be relied on for bringing class and elegance to the table. They understand the need for dresses with sleeves, always have lengths which are not thigh revealing, and have designs that step some distance away from what the rest of the High Street is reveling in. And so, when I was asked if I would like to review a dress from Great Plains, I was able to say a resounding yes, because I knew the dress…

Miami Vice style in a Pink Crepe Blazer from New Look
The hunt for a perfect pink jacket has been continuing at pace. I totally loved the F&F 60s style, which just looked so pretty over a dress (you can revisit that one here), but I was longing to find something that could be less formal, more at home with jeans, especially now we seem to be firmly entrenched in jacket weather. This gorgeous little number I was sent by New Look Inspire seems to fit the bill. The Inspire Dark Pink Crepe Blazer from New Look takes its style cues from the 1980s, in particular it reminded me of the super cool style of Crockett and Tubbs from Miami Vice.…

Celebrity get the look featuring Kelly Osbourne, Charlotte Dawson and the Duchess of Cambridge
As summer begins to draw to a close, the time comes for another look at some of the styles the celebs have been sporting this summer. This means we have a collection of looks that span from beachwear, daywear and glamorous evening looks. First up we have beachwear. Denise Van Outen proves that she looks as amazing as ever in a fab stipy bikini from Swimwear 365, great if you are planning a late Summer break, whilst the newly married model Georgia Jones wears a beautiful kimono from the rebranded Lindsey Brown Luxe Resortwear (formally Mya Blue Luxe) as she enjoys her honeymoon with new hubby, Danny Jones from McFly.…
