Summer is sorted with High Street Outlet
I am continuing my series of reviews of the great pieces you can pick up online at High Street Outlet by featuring a dress that is a perfect summer holiday dress. The Santiago maxi dress was originally a White Stuff piece, and because of the use of cotton, and the tropical halter neck, it is definitely a piece that I will be folding neatly into my holiday suitcase in a few weeks time. The picture above is just one of the reasons I chose this dress – just how amazing does it look worn casually with flip flops and hippy style beads? I knew this was a dress that could…

An F&F Autumn fashion preview
It might seem to be a bit perverse that just as summer is finally upon us, we start to look at the next season, Autumn and Winter. But fashion is like that, Spring is the season of the Autumn/Winter press days and today I have some of the shots from the F&F Clothing collections that will appear in stores from August. No longer the decade that style forgot, we are now seeing all the best elements – tailored flares and culottes, silk long sleeved blouses with pussy bow ties and printed tea dresses with knee high boots. We are also seeing…

Boohoo – My style icon
When I was asked if I would like to take part in the Boohoo.com ‘My Style Icon’ challenge, I was instantly intrigued and interested. Regular readers of this blog know that celebrity style, and getting the celebrity look are areas that I am really interested in. But to actually trying to recreate an outfit myself, from a limited budget of just £30, this was something that I thought would be difficult. Who exactly would I choose as my style icon? I had to think about this long and hard. I love the style of many varied women. The retro style of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and Marianne Faithfull…

Sienna Miller – Queen of Cannes
The Cannes film festival finished on Sunday, and I have to say I really enjoyed the glamorous fashion that had been on display this year. There were some truly beautiful looks worn by the likes of Lupita Nyong’u, Julianne Moore, Fan BingBing and Kendall Jenner, but, in my opinion, grand jury member Sienna Miller was the Queen of Cannes style, with a series of stylish, memorable looks. Sienna first came to prominence as a style icon in her Jude Law days, when a series of boho looks made her a fashion darling. If I’m honest, I was never that impressed then, Kate Moss had done it better and done it…
