Christmas fashion inspiration from the Celebs
It seems an age since I’ve done one of my favourite sort of posts, a celebrity style one, and so I’ve decided that, as we are moving towards the end of another year, I would focus on some of my favourite celeb looks from the Winter so far. I think 2014 has been a pretty vintage year in terms of stunning red carpet and off duty looks, and I’m sure to be featuring lots of my favourite 2014 looks in another post before we reach December 31st, but this post is looking at some of the glamorous evening looks that have featured in end of year Jingle Bell festivities. The Bullring Bloggers Christmas event
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the second Bullring blogger event of the year, held in the hospitality suite of the iconic shopping venue. The Bullring bloggers events are always lovely, a chance to catch up with some of my favourite bloggers, a showcase for some fabulous fashion, beauty and food brands, and, if your time permits, a chance for a little bit of pampering. The fabulous fun pots of personalised Nutella, beautiful necklaces from…

Vintage tea dress style Celebrity tea dress style Scarlett and Jo, sold exclusively through Evans, always feature tea dresses in their collections, producing wonderful, vintage inspired pieces that are just perfect for girls with curves. In soft…

Review – Planet black tuxedo style jacket
In yesterday’s blog I talked about how a faux fur coat is the perfect cover up for when you are going out for an evening occasion. For some people though, a big coat is not the answer. In these cases, I think a stylish blazer or tuxedo style jacket can work well when worn over a slinky dress, or teamed with tapered trousers for an androgynous look. I have recently been sent a stunning tuxedo style jacket from Planet (part of the Jacques Vert group) and I have already been wearing this jacket to great effect during the party season. It is stylish, easy to wear and is cut to…

Loving my Boohoo Louise Faux Fur Coat
I remember the days when I went out in the evening in a slinky dress and absolutely no coat. Whatever the weather, I would brave the cold thinking that a coat would spoil the general look of my outfit, and then I would freeze waiting for taxi’s in sub-zero temperatures. But there are ways to cover up in the evening, and still look glamorous and evening appropriate, and one of those ways is with a faux fur coat. I was sent the gorgeous Louise Faux Fur stripe coat from Boohoo, and have been struggling to take it off – it is gorgeous, cuddly and oh so warm. I think fur…
