Sienna Miller – Queen of Cannes
The Cannes film festival finished on Sunday, and I have to say I really enjoyed the glamorous fashion that had been on display this year. There were some truly beautiful looks worn by the likes of Lupita Nyong’u, Julianne Moore, Fan BingBing and Kendall Jenner, but, in my opinion, grand jury member Sienna Miller was the Queen of Cannes style, with a series of stylish, memorable looks. Sienna first came to prominence as a style icon in her Jude Law days, when a series of boho looks made her a fashion darling. If I’m honest, I was never that impressed then, Kate Moss had done it better and done it…

My first fashion wishlist for 2015
Before I start to talk about my first fashion wishlist for 2015 (I’m thinking of doing regular updates as the new season lines start to arrive in store) I think I need to explain that this is a wishlist – rather than a what I really need list. Confused? Well let me explain. A recent trawl through my wardrobe has shown there are some real gaps in the clothes I own. I have nowhere near enough jeans and trousers, as proved as I have tried to grab for these for the rather cold school run, and have then discovered they are all in the wash. I really need a good…

Style Icons – Kiera Knightley
I love Kiera Knightley style. She has such an incredible sense of fashion and was absolutely top of the list when it came to looking at style icons who have impressed and truly made their mark. Kiera Knightley style is always impeccable, from head to toe, and I love the fact that she often opts for looks that are incredibly demure – a real stand out in our days of skin and beads looks from the likes of Rihanna and Miley. In a similar way to Felicity Jones who I wrote about yesterday, Kiera Knightley style often takes its cues from styles and icons from the past. Bias cut satin…

Monochrome Chic at Coast
For many of us, Summer is the season where we truly embrace colour, littering our wardrobe with pretty pastels and citrus brights that seem to shimmer and sparkle once we have some gorgeous sunshine. But another chic option for Summer dressing has to be the always classic monochrome. Black and white are timeless and stylish. It has been a popular choice for some of the most famous style icons of all time, from Audrey Hepburn, who first immortalised monochrome in a beautiful Givenchy gown in Sabrina, and then sent it to new heights in Cecil Beaton’s Royal Ascot gown in ‘My Fair Lady’ (Although Eliza shouting ‘move yer bleedin a***…

Eagerly awaited – Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly
The publicity stills and on-set photographs have got people pretty excited about a film set for release in March. ‘Grace of Monaco’ is a film about Princess Grace, formally Grace Kelly, and is set during the early 1960s, a period when the Princess considered returning to Hollywood filming in Hitchcock’s Marnie. This was not a happy period in time for Princess Grace, and by focusing on this particular time, we get to see the not-so-happy ever after behind the fairytale wedding. In the film Grace is played by a modern Hollywood goddess and style icon, Nicole Kidman. I’m a huge fan of Nicole for both her acting and sense of…
