January Outfit Post – Part 2
As promised, here is part two of my outfit post for January. This one features some of the sale bargains I found this month, including the final pieces which cost a grand total of £16 from Topshop. I’ve already worn the jumper on a couple of occasions, and I know the skirt will be a wardrobe favourite as I have it in a couple of different colours and basically wear them to death. I’m thinking of teaming it with a black jumper for the rest of the Winter, and then a cream cami and strappy sandals once Summer comes. The best sort of wardrobe buys are ones which are versatile…

Dorothy Perkins – New season hero buys
It is August, and still the height of Summer, so, with the prospect of a bit of a heatwave on the way, it seems the perfect time to look towards…Autumn. March was a fairly quite month due to the fact that I was struggling health wise for so much of it. A combination of sinusitis, which I suffer from dreadfully, and Colitis, meant that some lovely events I was…

Dorothy Perkins – Style Heroes
Fresh for Spring, Dorothy Perkins has launched a collection of pieces that are both fashion forward and classic. These pieces, called ‘style heroes’ are perfect pieces that can be mixed and matched together to make a capsule wardrobe that is functional, stylish and transitional. The pieces are perfect now, with the weather still changeable, simply by mixing in your current knitwear and boots, but will also work as it warms up by discarding the opaques and long sleeves. I think the whole collection has a minimalist 1990s feel to it. I clearly remember wearing the chunky heeled shoe boots, Bardot style tops and shirt dresses in my teen years, and…
