It’s LK Bennett again for Duchess Kate..and it’s all about the peplum.
The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to Leicester today, and, as usual, all eyes were on the Duchess or, more specifically, what she was wearing. Kate returned to a stunning high street dress and jacket from one of her favourite sources, LK Bennett. The dress was the teal version of the Davina dress which she teamed with the Jude belted jacket and a neat little hat from John Lock. This has to be one of my favourite looks that Kate has worn since the Royal wedding. The silhouette of this look is so on trend with the peplum effect of the jacket, and the whole outfit…

Competition time! Get the Middleton look at Jon Richard
We all know about the Kate effect on fashion. Anything the Duchess of Cambridge wears, particularly if purchased from a High Street store, is an instant sell out. So it’s no wonder that the High Street is getting style inspiration from the stylish Duchess. One of my fave jewellery brands, Jon Richard, has put its on spin on one of Kate’s most iconic items, the glorious sapphire and diamond engagement ring. This piece of jewellery once belonged to the Princess of Wales, and sparked a resurgence in larger, more traditional style rings when William presented it to his bride-to-be. Many jewellery brands have produced their own copy of the Kate…

Kate visits Oxford wearing Orla Kiely
The Duchess of Cambridge showed her fun side when she visited Oxford as part of The Art Project. She wore a gorgeous winter coat dress with a Dove Print by Irish designer Orla Kiely..,and promptly sparked yet another sell out. She also again showed her thrifty side by wearing another dress purchased at a sale price. The Birdie wool Jacquard shirt dress in Walnut has proved to be an instant sell-out, both in the walnut shade that Kate wore, and also in the turquoise shade. In fact, all the dresses that feature this print have now sold out, another sign of the positive effect Kate holds over fashion at the…

Kate sparkles Like Mulled Wine at Sandringham
We have been hearing stories about Kate Middleton’s five outfits on Christmas Day, and at Sandringham Church we were treated to a good look at one of them. Kate chose a gorgeous berry shaded frock-coat that has been described as being designed by an independent British Designer, but which reminds me of a Katherine Hooker style that Kate has worn previously. Collarless and belted, this longer length coat looked supremely elegant when compared to the rather short styles some of the Royal ladies chose to wear to church. Kate teamed it with a jaunty hat from Milliner Jane Corbett. This kept the outfit looking young and fun, whilst opaque style…

Kate wears Ralph Lauren to visit Centrepoint.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Centrepoint yesterday, and the informal visit showed that like her sister Pippa, Kate is rather partial to a polo necked dress. The dress was by Ralph Lauren, and was from the Blue Label Collection. A wool/cashmere mix, this dress had featured on Fashion-Mommy in November when it was shown in a post about Pippa’s blue polo neck dress. The dress is currently reduced at FarFetched.com, selling for £219, and is still available in sizes XS, S and L. The dress is also available from the Ralph Lauren Website for the bargain price of $159. However, Kate’s colour way is out of stock, and…
