Best looks from The Brits
The Brit Awards offers the cream of the British music industry the chance to get dressed up and generally let their hair down whilst enjoying the copious amounts of hospitality (ahem!) on offer. The latest ceremony has been totally overshadowed by Madonna, an Armani cape and a pretty spectacular fall, but on the fashion front it was a certain Miss Paloma Faith who took all the plaudits. Paloma was awarded a much deserved Best Female Singer award on the night, and wore three showstopping looks, including Armani Prive and Dolce and Gabbana. She looked every inch the star, even when performing in a rainstorm. I’ve been a fan of Paloma…

Paloma, Joss and Ellie light up Hootenanny
My traditional end to a year, now that we have a small child, is the same every year. We go out early, to dine or visit family, and then get back home, pour the fizz and settle down to the glamour and entertainment that is Jools Holland’s Hootenanny. As I have said, it is traditional! This year was a vintage episode in both the glamour and the music stakes, with Paloma Faith being my star turn, especially when she turned in a tongue in cheek performance of ‘River Deep Mountain Eye’ complete with Tina Turner style dance moves and backing singers. Her ruby glitter dress was just gorgeous and so…

Get the best looks from the Q Awards with Boohoo
Last night saw the Q Awards, with some of the biggest names in music gathering to support the great and good as they collected hard earned awards. Robbie Williams, Jake Bugg and one of my 90s faves, Suede, were all at the event, but as with any awards ceremony, what I was really interested in was the fashion on show. Girl of the moment Ellie Goulding was on hand in a beautiful Temperley London dress. Although I profess boredom with the sheer skirts, I like this one, which is a litte like a cocktails style with an 80s style netting. Maybe it was the fact it had a little skirt…

Celebrity Style round up featuring Kate Moss, Ellie Goulding and Millie Mackintosh.
There have been some really great celebrity looks this month, with celebs once again showing that the perfect wardrobe is a good blend of High Street pieces and designer names. On the designer front, there was a double whammy at this year’s Children in Need, with both Tess Daly and Sarah Harding opting for the Project D Itala dress, albeit in different metallic shades. Kate Moss showed her style credentials in animal print from Marc Jacobs in a midi length, a style you can get for less on the High Street at the moment, whilst the lovely Sara MacDonald, Noel Gallagher’s better half, showed that the Gatsby look is definitely…

V festival fashion- who was top of the pops?
For many festivals have become as much about watching the fashion as about the music. In the case of this years V festival I can say it was probably more interesting. As someone who loves Oasis, Kasabian, The Killers, Strokes etc, I can say that guitar bands seem to be in short supply, and there was an awful lot of pop and R&B/Rap on the menu. But festival style seems to improve each year. Here are some of my favourites, both on and off the stage. Rihanna I loved that Rihanna flew the flag in this cute Union Jack crop top. She has the body to make anything look good,…
